Hey, people! It’s a spooky season, so I was very happy to find a suitable image for today’s guide.
of today NYT Links: Sports Edition suggestions and answers are coming right away.
How to play Links: Sports Edition
Links: Sports Edition is a free daily New York Times game. You get a new puzzle at midnight every day and you can play on it NYT website. It works the same as usual Connections game, except it’s all about sports.
You are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them into four groups of four by finding the connections between them. Groups can be things like teams in a certain city, athletes who won Olympic gold in a certain discipline, or different sports terms associated with a color.
There is only one solution to each puzzle and you will have to be careful when it comes to words that can fit into more than one category. You can mix the words to help you see the connections between them.
Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to understand, the blue and green fall in between, and the purple group is usually the hardest. The purple group often includes puns.
Choose four words that you think go together and press submit. If you make a guess and are incorrect, you will lose a life. If you’re close to making a correct set, you may see a message telling you that you’re just one word away from getting it right, but you’ll still need to figure out which one to switch.
If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with the help of some tips and, if you’re really struggling, today Connections answers. How about me Wordle and other similar games, it’s easy to share scores with your friends on social media and group chats.

I had to scratch my chin at this one for a moment before I got the yolks out. The Blues were next as I thought they were the only games or sports on the network – I easily overlooked POOL.
Then I made a mistake with a goggle, suit, gloves and TEE guess. I thought those were all the things you could wear, but it’s also a CAP. That’s when the greens hit me like a ton of bricks, leaving purple words for victory.
That’s all there is for today Links: Sports Edition data and response. Be sure to check my blog for tips and the solution for Thursday’s game if you need them.
PS I only recently learned about the existence of Savannah Bananas. I’m not much of a baseball fan, but this is absolutely cool. I love it so much.
