One of the main gripes we had with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was its price, something that’s alleviated somewhat with this early Prime Day deal. Our review of the S24 Ultra resulted in an “outstanding” rating and our Editors’ Choice award, as we found the phone to be particularly fast, the screen great, and the cameras “awesome.” “Photos I took in a variety of environments and lighting conditions look outstanding, with crisp detail and rich saturation. Image quality is easily on par with flagships from Apple and Google,” noted our expert. It also has many extremely useful AI features that you will love day after day.

The Google Pixel 8 may not be the latest model from the tech giant, but it’s still a very good phone to have, especially given the current price drop. In our review of the Pixel 8, we gave it an “Excellent” rating, as well as our Editors’ Choice award. From launch, the phone was competitively priced, offering excellent overall performance, a compact design, and quality build materials. “Images captured by either camera on the Pixel 8 are incredibly detailed and handle changes in light without a problem. Colors are consistent between cameras, but look oversaturated when compared to real-life colors,” our expert noted.

If you’re looking for a phone with great battery life, the OnePlus 12R might be just what you need, especially since the phone is on sale ahead of Big Deal Days. We reviewed the OnePlus 12R and gave it an “Excellent” rating, praising the phone’s bright display and overall excellent performance, as well as how quickly you can charge it. However, we were more impressed with how long you can go between charges. “We ran a YouTube video over a Wi-Fi connection with the phone’s screen set to maximum brightness to test the battery. It lasted an impressive 22 hours and 43 minutes on a single charge, making it our current champion of battery life, beating the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s 20 hours and 15 minutes,” the review says.

If you’re nostalgic for what your first mobile phone was, then the Motorola Razr+ is sure to help recapture that feeling. In our review we gave the phone an “Excellent” rating, appreciating the excellent display quality and the fact that the external display is actually functional, unlike previous models. The stylish design will also weigh heavily in your decision-making and we have nothing to complain about. However, the impressive price cut ($400 off) may well be the most compelling argument to get you to buy this one.

Another phone we enjoyed reviewing was the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, which we gave an “Excellent” rating. We found the phone to deliver an impressive performance, being marketed as a gaming phone. To make sure you can have a lot of fun, the phone features a fast processor and plenty of RAM, as well as an impressive battery. The cameras are also better than you’d expect from a flagship phone. “Camera quality is quite good – and not just for a gaming phone. Images are a bit saturated as you get from Google and Samsung, but fine details like tree branches and individual bricks are clean and easily visible” , says our review.
